Does the thought of knitting lace totally scare you? We can help!
During the first class we'll get you started on a cotton washcloth using a simple lace pattern. We'll use stitch markers to help keep our place and explore the difference between written instructions and charts. You'll take your project home and work on another washcloth for the next class.
During our second class you will learn to cast on and knit a lace edging. Kim will also demonstrate how to block your lace in order to make your Stitches more clear.
Cotton yarn will be provided for the class. Please bring a set of knitting needles in size US #6 or 7. 9" straight or 24" circular needles will work best.
