Haven’t you always wanted to make your own Ukrainian eggs? Now is your chance!

In this workshop, you will learn the basics and jump right into decorating and dying eggs. Pysanky is a decorating technique in which intricate designs are painted on eggs using beeswax “pens,” or kitska. These layers of wax resist are brought to life with a palette of vivid dyes, to stunning effect. Whether you choose to use traditional designs or to experiment with your own patterns - or both! - you will leave with at least one beautifully decorated and finished egg. Each participant will receive supplies to take home, so this workshop is just the beginning of your adventures in pysanky. Be forewarned - it’s addictive!
