Knit-a-Long: Nest Cowl
Thursdays 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, and 10/9
10:30am-12pm or 5:30-7pm
Here I am in my new favorite cowl! Actually, this one is a sample for my shop and I can’t really wear it… so I’m going to make myself another one this Fall!
We’ll be using the Nest Cowl Pattern, by Tin Can Knits. Like many patterns from Tin Can Knits, the Nest Cowl comes in a range of sizes and yarn gauges. I’m going to use my absolute favorite, worsted weight, merino yarn… Maxima from Manos del Uruguay. This single ply yarn is buttery soft and oh so squishy. I have lot’s of other worsted weight yarn options for you to choose from as well! Participants will get 10% off supplies for this KAL.
The pattern is relatively simple, for such a stunning pay off. Did I mention that the cable pattern is reversible? It looks great on either side, so there’s no wrong way to wear it! It’s also the perfect project for enjoying conversation, or a glass of wine… you only have to remember to cable every sixth row!
This Kal is open to all levels. (Well, you do have to know how to knit/purl/cast on and off) If you haven’t cabled before… I’ll get you started. If you know how to cable, I can show you a few tips to make it easier, and maybe even faster!
Here’s what you’ll need:
