We are a fun fiber arts and wine shop located in historic downtown Norway, Maine. We carry a wide selection of yarn, felting and spinning fibers, tools and notions for knitting/crochet/felting, buttons, hand made gift items and also…wine! Our friendly staff is here to help you plan and troubleshoot your projects or pick a delicious new bottle of wine.

Dimensions: The bag is a cylinder with a 9-inch diameter. It is 15 inches high when open and approximately 13 inches high when the top is fully cinched.
Features: It includes two side straps that can be used as shoulder straps; there is no waist strap. There are no internal pockets or zippered compartments.
Capacity: It easily holds enough yarn for a sweater project.
What’s the Maine Yarn Cruise?
For those who haven’t participated before, the Maine Yarn Cruise is not an actual boat cruise, rather it’s a summer and early fall yarn crawl. As a “cruiser”, you can visit any participating shop to purchase a passport with a custom MYC bag, complete with goodies from our wonderful sponsors and shops. Then start your cruise and visit as many shops as you can between July 1st, and October 12th (Indigenous Peoples’ Day).
Each shop offers monthly prizes and a grand prize drawing. And if you visit all the shops, you can enter the drawing to win our End-of-the-Road Grand Prize—a $400 gift card and second place is a $200 gift card to the MYC shop of your choice. Throughout the summer, you can expect special events, local festivals, knit-a-longs, crochet-a-longs, prizes, and other fun.

Fiber Friends Class Pass!
Sign up for a class with a friend, and you’ll save money! There will be 2 passes available for most classes and the discount will depend on the class. Sometimes you’ll be able to bring a friend for half price, sometimes less! One friend does the signing up, and then the two of you can split the cost however you want. The key is to sign up early, so you can grab a pass!

Teacher: Kim Hamlin
In this fun class, your young artist will learn to create a painting with wool! Kids will start with one of our pre-made templates, and learn basic flat felting techniques. Students will have time to work on more than one piece, and be able to draw their own design if they wish.
This is a *kids only* class… so parents and guardians do not need to stay. Feel free to go get coffee, take a walk on main street, run errands… whatever. We will have a show and tell at the end of class, so come back a little early to see what the kids have made.
